Odesa Black is a hybrid created in Ukraine in 1948 as a cross between Alicante Bouschet and Cabernet Sauvignon. This naturally semi-dry Cabernet Sauvignon is a delicious result from the climatic conditions of the 2022 harvest. Italian clones of Cabernet Sauvignon combine with the terroir of the Bessarabian steppe and Lake Yulpuh’s cool breezes to produce a soft, medium-bodied dry red wine with a distinctly Ukrainian taste of blackcurrant, cherry, tobacco and oak with vanilla notes.
